- When dusting pleated lampshades, use a soft-bristled paintbrush. It makes it so much easier and goes faster.
- Rubbing a sheet over your television or computer screen will help to eliminate static electricity and also keep dust from resettling. Simply use a sheet as a dust cloth. This also should work on Venetian Blinds to keep the dust from resettling.
- Got some old socks that you can no longer find the mate to? Use the odd socks for cleaning. Slip a sock over your hand and use it as a dust cloth or cleaning rag. Then when through, toss it back in the wash to re-use again. Be sure to mark the sock somehow so you’ll know not to search for the mate again.
