Dish Washing Tips
Clean baked-on foods from a pan. Put a fabric softener sheet in the pan, fill with water, let sit overnight, and sponge clean. Supposedly, the anti-static agent weakens the bond between the food and the pan.

I suppose you can even pour liquid fabric softener in a pan with some water and let it sit overnight. If anyone has tried this, let me know if it works.
