Freeze several bottles of water to put in the ice chest or cooler. It will keep food chilled without watering down everything in the cooler. It’s also cheaper than buying bags of ice – especially when you consider that you can drink the water when the bottles thaw.

Wrapping Paper
For wrapping paper in a pinch, try using the funnies from the newspaper, or a map. You also can use fabric scraps or a brown paper grocery bag turned inside out. You can write funny quotes or draw pictures on the plain paper to jazz it up.
